For Cycles i was in charge of all vegetation assets, lighting and shot assembly in Unity.
Cycles is heavily art directed and all shots had a specific color-script to be used as a guide for lighting.
The film is very dynamic with multiple time of days and interior lights constantly blending on and off. I helped develop a system to allow us to set lights per moment and then blend between as needed.
As the story is told over a 50 year period we needed to create multiple versions of the vegetation and set dressing so we could simulate how things grown and change over time.
